Required Education/Experience

+ High School Diploma/GED and 5 years of relevant work experience

+ in Central Operations including Substation Ops, Steam Ops, Construction, and/or Engineering or

+ Associate's Degree and 4 years of relevant work experience

+ in Central Operations including Substation Ops, Steam Ops, Construction, and/or Engineering or

+ Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of relevant work experience in Central Operations including Substation Ops, Steam Ops, Construction, and/or Engineering.

Relevant Work Experience

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills - Required

+ Strong presentation and facilitation skills - Required

+ Demonstrate high energy level, flexibility and the ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments while working under tight deadlines - Required

+ Strong organizational, administrative, decision making and interpersonal skills with attention to detail and a solid teamwork orientation - Required

+ Maintain a professional demeanor and have the ability to deal with all levels of management, regulatory agencies, union personnel and customers - Required

+ Hands-on experience with computer software programs, including Microsoft Office products - Required

+ Demonstrate ability to incorporate new and innovative technology to enhance processes - Required

+ Strong project management skills - Required

+ At least 2 years of relevant work experience in Substation Ops, Steam Ops, Construction, and/or Engineering - Required

+ Familiar with curriculum development or instructional design - Preferred

+ Experience with eTrain and TLC Portal - Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

+ Driver's License Required

Additional Physical Demands

+ Must be able to respond to Company emergencies by performing a System Emergency Assignment to restore service to our customers.

+ Must be willing to travel within the Con Ed and/or O&R service territory, as needed.

+ Must be able to participate in the Companys emergency management processes and storm plans as required.
