    The Leonardo DRS Naval Electronics business provides leading naval computing infrastructure, network and data distribution and middleware enterprise services, as well as world-class manufacturing and support capabilities.

    Job Summary

    We are seeking a motivated Mechanical Engineering Intern to join our Naval Electronics team. Based in our Display, Processing and Networking Center of Excellence, located in Johnstown, PA. this opportunity will gain hands-on experience performing professional technical duties in support of the Engineering function.

    Job Responsibilities

    + Conduct limited scope testing under the supervision of engineers

    + Complete assigned tasks on time

    + Gather and assemble data for engineers

    + Conduct design analysis and/or calculations under the supervision of engineers

    + Assist engineers with appropriate design details

    + Perform a wide variety of tasks to gain familiarity with the engineering staff, methods, programs and practices

    + Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization

    + Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    + High school diploma or GED

    + Engineering student
