Our client, an industry leader in telecommunications, has an excellent opportunity for a Quality Assurance Analyst to work on a 12+ month contract opportunity. Work will be a hybrid on-site/remote schedule in Englewood, CO. The Quality Assurance Analyst will do end to end regression testing for client facing video and streaming platforms. This team tests everything in video delivery like Video on Demand (VOD), live streaming, ad insertions. They work on streaming products like Xumo, Roku, Apple TV, and most recently Smart TVs, which will be the main focus of this role.

Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $56 - $60 / hr. w2

Responsibilities:

+ A quality assurance analyst creates tests to find any problems with software before the product is launched.

+ They identify and analyze any bugs found during testing and document them.

+ They also must pay very close attention to detail and coach their team on managing testing tools, reporting results, and motivating process improvement.

+ A normal workday for a quality assurance engineer includes developing new tests to run, running the tests, and documenting the results; if any defects are noted the quality assurance analysts will need to collaborate with the software developers to find a fix and patch the program.

+ Once the defect has been patched, they will need to run the test again to make sure there are no new bugs and to make sure the defect found has been corrected.

Experience Requirements:

+ Experience testing streaming video on native OTT devices, like Roku, Apple TV, Smart TVs, and mobile phones.

+ Experience with API validations

+ Experience with Agile methodologies, like SCRUM or Kanban, and related tools, like JIRA

+ Tools: Splunk, Charles Proxy, or similar

Education Requirements:

+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent

+ Experience working and collaborating with offshore teams

+ Use of Data Analytics to support validation using tools like AWS OpenSearch, Kibana, Tableau

+ Experience testing ad insertion into streaming video

_Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range._
