The Training Coordinator IV plays a critical role in strategically supporting the manufacturing training program at the Plymouth Nathan Lane site. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing continuous skills development programs, assessing learning outcomes, and managing training matrices. This role is integral to onboarding, providing classroom instruction, one-on-one facilitation, and group training sessions, as well as designing content and curriculum. The Training Coordinator collaborates with leadership and manufacturing support functions to ensure alignment with industry trends and business needs. This position requires engaging with stakeholders to innovate and oversee the rollout of training programs, while monitoring their effectiveness through assessments. Additionally, the role involves facilitating "Train the Trainer" sessions and conducting orientations for new employees to ensure they are well-prepared for their roles.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
+ Lead and align training strategies with organizational goals and industry trends.
+ Obtain information needed to prepare in-house training programs; prepare training materials; develop training content; and coordinate the development of training aids.
+ Train and certify trainers responsible for delivering the CSD program, ensuring they are well-prepared and certified.
+ Support assemblers and operators in production areas, ensuring progress in the CSD Training Programs, problem-solving obstacles, and coaching individuals as they develop skills as trainers. Partner with CSD Trainers on the manufacturing floor, supporting them as program experts.
+ Use creative problem-solving to partner with learners, managers, and process owners to respond to and resolve issues, ensuring smooth adoption of new training initiatives.
+ Create, organize, plan, and present various forms of onboarding, orientation, and skills training for both new and established employees.
+ Maintain records of training and development activities, attendance, results of tests and assessments, and retraining requirements.
+ Evaluate program effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback, staying updated on industry trends, and reporting CSD metrics.
+ Collaborate with a range of stakeholders, process owners, subject matter experts, and vendors to define, maintain, and improve training programs, ensuring the right training for the right audience.
+ Maintain communication with trainers, trainees, and leadership to ensure training effectiveness and provide ongoing support post-training.
+ Ability to succeed in a variety of environments, as a typical workday entails some time on the production floor facilitating or overseeing training, some time working at your desk on various computer tasks, and some time attending team and dept meetings & collaborating with various teams & functions in their locations.
Minimum Requirements
+ High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
Nice to Have:
+ Application of adult learning principles, instructional design, cultural competence, adaptability, and effective communication. Ability to use a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods. Understanding of diverse cultural perspectives
+ Presentation skills to a variety of audiences including new hires, a small team, or leaders
+ Experience with training in a manufacturing setting, and/or demonstrated experience with providing on-the-job training & skill assessment
+ Able to flex hours to support training across all shifts as needed
+ The ability to think long-term and understand how training initiatives align with broader organizational objectives. Proficiency in analyzing training data to provide insights or recommendations
+ Strong verbal & written communication skills, including email
+ Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related program software, specifically: Strong skills in Word & PowerPoint; basic Excel skills
+ Organized- ability to maintain training records, rosters, progress notes & plans, & all certification records
+ Able to manage your role in several projects & initiatives simultaneously
+ Ability to design and implement effective training and development, with support.
+ Ability to learn and adapt to changes in technology, processes, and requirements
+ Able to work in various setting, from office, to classroom, and manufacturing floor
+ Experience working with system software including Agile and SAP
+ Bachelor’s Degree or some college
+ Experience with curriculum design or content development
+ Experience with coaching or developing others to improve performance
+ Familiarity with delivering training programs to a global workforce
+ Familiarity with the latest training technologies such as virtual reality or AI-based learning tools
+ Project management experience

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$60,000.00 - $90,000.00
This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Operations Incentive Plan (OIP).
The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
The following benefits and additional compensation are available to those regular employees who work 20+ hours per week: Health, Dental and vision insurance, Health Savings Account, Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Life insurance, Long-term disability leave, Dependent daycare spending account, Tuition assistance/reimbursement, and Simple Steps (global well-being program).
