    Summary This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Responsibilities You will be resolving end user requirements associated with voice, data, video, network services, and telecommunications media associated with current and emerging technologies. You will provide technical assistance, guidance and solutions for development, installation, usage and sustainment of all current and emerging technologies/telecommunication products and services. You will assist staff in identifying and purchasing new equipment and services to meet the operational needs while in compliance with policies and directives. You will create and manage user accounts with appropriate user's rights to access network systems. You will Participate in the planning and delivery of a full range of Information Technology customer support services to the organization. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) providing support to the Customer Technical Representative (CTR) by interpreting and representing the customer discussions and requirements; 2) Serving as senior technical advisor for all customer service problems; 3) providing input to the CTR for preparation to the final report on Contractor performance for the applicable task order; and 4) providing customer representation in any discussions regarding Service Level agreement clarification and or definition and support process. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Education Successful completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree from an accredited or pre-accredited institution in computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or technology management OR Successful completion of 3 full years (54 hours) of progressively higher graduate level education from an accredited or pre-accredited institution in computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or technology management; or, graduate education that provided a minimum of 24 semester hours in one or more of the fields identified above and required the development or adaptation of applications, systems or networks. Additional Information This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. This announcement uses the Defense Industrial Base, Major Range and Test Facilities direct hire authority to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to certain positions in the competitive service. This is a bargaining unit position. Several vacancies may be filled. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if the selectee fails to meet the pre-employment requirements, including failure to report to any of the scheduled appointments.
