    Job Description

    Who We Are: The Department of Technology, Management and Budget(DTMB) supports the business operations of state agencies through a variety of services, including building management and maintenance, information technology, centralized contracting and procurement, budget and financial management, space planning and leasing, construction management, motor vehicle fleet operations, and oversight of the state retirement systems. This position is with the Office of Retirement Services (ORS) area of DTMB.

    About The Position: This position will be responsible for executing and monitoring ORS and Process Support initiatives. Provide backup support to the Business Process Leader with HR initiatives and functions. This includes activities such as the new hire and exit process, performance management process and other initiatives. This position will monitor ORS’ compliance with state administrative policies, standards and procedures and follow up with compliance tracking. This position will coordinate Process Support technology development activities and cross-process testing and development efforts.

     

    Position Location/Remote Office: The office location is Lansing, MI. The State of Michigan is not able to offer employment to out of-state applicants that do not plan to relocate. The Department of Technology Management and Budget currently offers a hybrid work option which requires two days working on-site at the official work location and three days of remote work per week.
