Job Description:
Johnson & Johnson is hiring a **Meeting Room Engineering Manager** in Raritan, New Jersey.
We are seeking a strategic Technical Manager to lead and comprehensive oversight and execution of enterprise meeting rooms and collaboration technology within our End User Services organization. The candidate will play a crucial role in defining the product vision and strategy, ensuring that meeting room and collaboration solutions enforce to standards while delivering significant business value.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and articulate the product strategy, technology, and service roadmaps. Lead global deployments and support models. Continuously improve user experience and run the technology lifecycle for meeting room systems.
• Be responsible for all aspects of project budgets and schedules, track, monitor, report, and resolve issues, risks, decisions, assumptions, and dependencies.
• Communicate effectively within technical and business environments, interpreting, developing, and communicating information to multiple levels and audiences.
• Identify, design, and implement automation across the service to improve outcomes and capabilities.
• Passion for learning new technologies and staying up to date with industry trends, standard methodologies, and new technologies in real-time collaboration and AI.
• Develop and deploy generative AI apps and APIs to all the product suites. Optimizing workflows, automating tasks, and boosting efficiency across teams. Overall cutting down on manual work and accelerating admin tasks.
• Work with tech and business teams to set priorities, define requirements, and update legacy meeting rooms technology.
• Lead programs, projects, and teams through all phases using Project Management, System Development Lifecycle, and Quality methodologies.
• Conduct detailed research into new technologies, innovative solutions, and intelligent automations to champion continuous improvement of the service.
• Conduct lab evaluations of new products and services. Clearly assess products/services for functional suitability, security requirements, and general IT management principles.
• Demonstrate strong PowerShell scripting knowledge and application integrations for our technology portfolio to enable deployment and operations tasks. Write automation requirements for the team and specific scripts for testing and validation.
• Acquire high-quality data measurements from devices and service providers to provide consolidated visualizations of service performance.
• Design and deploy Zoom meeting room technology and Microsoft Teams Room Systems and run these systems via Admin Center.
• Lead Zoom Room Systems deployment and administration through the Zoom Admin Portal.
• Handle Windows systems, including concepts such as WMI, group policies, Windows registry, and ideally any exposure to VMware Workspace One or Intune device management.
Qualifications
Required:
• A bachelor’s or master’s degree, or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 7 years of experience leading global IT programs
• 5 years of experience in meeting room and video collaboration technology
• Proven expertise in Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and managing Video Conferencing
• Deep technical knowledge in Audio Visual, Virtual Collaboration, Networking, VoIP, Operating Systems, Security, computing hardware and software
• Experience with strategic program management, synthesizing leadership, team, and customer inputs into decisions
• Agile methodology experience
• Strong organizational and collaboration skills, able to influence without authority.
• Passion for learning new technologies and staying up to date with industry trends, standard methodologies, and emerging technologies in real-time collaboration and AI.
Preferred:
• Familiarity with ITIL concepts, practices, and procedures
• Excellent communication skills (oral, business writing, communicating, listening)
• Focus on end-user needs and service orientation
• Proven thought leadership in technology innovation and adoption
• Ability to navigate and produce results in a global organization

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$115,000 - $197,800.
Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis. Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance. Employees may be eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
