    Job Title: Magnet LeadLocation:ELSCFTE:1.0 - 2 positions - one for Area 1, one for Area 2Compensation:? Compensation to align with Teacher Master Contract? 20 additional contract days for a $18,000 stipendGeneral Scope of Responsibilities:The Magnet Coordinator Lead guides the development, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of magnet programming across designated magnet schools. This role is central to ensuring that magnet initiatives align with district priorities and comply with MSAP grant requirements while advancing theme-integrated, standards-based instruction. The Magnet Coordinator Lead collaborates with district leaders, school administrators, instructional coaches, magnet coordinators, area teams, and the magnet team to drive innovative teaching practices, support data-driven decision-making, and foster continuous program improvement.Reports to: Area Chief and Director of Magnet ProgrammingClassification:Teacher LeaderProgram Implementation and Alignment? Guide and support the implementation of magnet programming to align with district priorities and the MSAP grant.? Support fidelity, timeliness, and budget adherence in executing the MSAP grant plan.? Support magnet coordinators and school-based teams in aligning magnet programs with instructional priorities and student achievement goals.? Collaborate with instructional coaches, magnet coordinators, and PLCs to advance theme-integrated teaching and learning and the CRCSD Model of Instruction.Data, Reporting, and Accountability? Assist in preparing reports and performance measures for the U.S. Department of Education, evaluators, and district leadership.? Support schools in collecting and analyzing program data to monitor progress and outcomes.Instructional Support and Professional Development? Provide guidance and coaching support for theme-aligned, standards-based, rigorous instruction.? Plan, deliver, and coordinate targeted professional development focused on the CRCSD Model of Instruction, innovative practices, and magnet theme integration.? Support magnet school teams to plan, deliver, and coordinate targeted school-level professional developmentCommunication and Collaboration? Serve as a liaison between the school and the district office to ensure effective communication and the smooth implementation of district-wide and magnet school initiatives.? Support district-wide innovation initiatives, build relationships and engage diverse stakeholders, including business leaders, community organizations, and educators.Student Recruitment and Access? Support student recruitment, marketing, and equitable access to magnet schools, including oversight of lottery management.Qualifications:Education: Bachelor’s degree in education (Master’s degree preferred) Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in public education (coaching experience preferred)Skills:? Knowledge of innovative instructional practices, interdisciplinary teaching and learning, and the CRCSD Model of Instruction.? Ability to integrate magnet themes with academic curriculum and instruction.? Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks and meet deadlines.? Ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating effectively with school staff, district staff, students, families, and community partners.? Proficiency in using data to monitor program success and identify areas for improvement.Working Conditions:? In addition to the 20 additional days, the position requires the commitment of professional working hours that will require the employee to arrive and leave as directed and may require the employee to extend beyond a typical 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. workday, which could include occasional summertime, evening, and weekend work required for special events, professional learning, and meetings.? Some travel within the district may be required for special events, professional learning and meetings.
