• Sewing Machine Operator

    We have an outstanding Contract position for aSewing Machine Operatorto join a leading Company located in theLouisa, VA surrounding area.

    Job Responsibilities:

    + Operate and maintain industrial sewing machines to stitch air filter materials according to production specifications.

    + Follow detailed work instructions and blueprints to ensure accurate assembly of components.

    + Inspect materials and finished products for defects, ensuring they meet quality standards.

    + Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on sewing machines to ensure smooth operation.

    + Monitor production output to meet established performance goals and deadlines.

    + Cut, trim, and adjust materials as needed during the sewing process.

    + Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards.

    + Record production data, including the number of units produced, machine maintenance, and any quality issues.

    + Package and label finished air filters for shipment.

    + Communicate with team members and supervisors to ensure production targets and safety protocols are met.

    Basic Hiring Criteria:

    + High school diploma or equivalent.

    + Previous experience operating sewing machines is required.

    + Basic mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot and maintain sewing equipment.

    + Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.

    + Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently.

    + Strong communication skills and a collaborative team player.
