    Job Description:

    The _Financial Analyst_ reports to a Sr. Manager, Brand Finance and will partner with the brand management, sales planning, and operations finance teams to help drive profitable growth for the business. This role will support Brand Marketing and Brand Finance with ongoing efforts to deliver consumer value through participation in the new product development process as well as with tracking and quantifying the effectiveness of ongoing marketing spend

    Specific Responsibilities:

    + Supports brand marketing with long-range (12mo+) business & financial planning focused on profitable growth, brand strategy & new product development

    + Supports the new product development process alongside Brand Marketing, Brand Finance, and Engineering by assisting with financial projections for new products along with post mortem analysis of previously launched projects

    + Supports marketing ROI analytics and collaborates with Brand Management to manage, track and optimize spending

    + Assist with month-end and quarter-end close activities including variance commentary and reporting

    + Proactively owns, identifies, and solves issues assigned to them

    + Ability to manage multiple priorities, as timeline to action may be tight and require significant cross-functional coordination.

    + Strong business acumen and ability to share business knowledge with non-financial individuals.

    + Drive automation and scalability of financial processes and reporting tool

    + Ad hoc projects as assigned.

    Key Qualifications:

    + BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Management or Economics

    + Strong Business acumen and analytical skills with the ability to distill complex data into clear, actionable insights

    + Excellent communication and presentation skills - able to engage stakeholders at all levels

    + Self-starter mentality with a focus on accuracy, accountability, and ownership

    + 0 - 3 years of relevant finance experience, preferably in Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG)

    + Proficiency in MS Office applications (Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), computer literate.

    + Experience with SAP and Oracle/Hyperion planning systems strongly preferred.

    + Excellent oral and written communication skills.

    + Comfortable with ambiguity and changing priorities

    + Self-motivated in achieving goals and completing routine tasks.

    + Ability to work as part of a team and interface with others across all levels of the organization, work independently and as part of a team to solve problems given limited resources and time, have a strong work ethic, and adhere to deadlines
