PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

Responsible for the cleanliness of communal space, workspaces, office spaces and outside areas as assigned.

Possess a working knowledge of industrial maintenance equipment and cleaning chemicals/ supplies.

Must be customer oriented.

Maintain cleanliness of communal space, workspaces, office spaces and outside areas as assigned.

Sweep, dust scrub, strip floors, wax, buff, clean windows and empty trashcans as assigned.

In depth cleaning, including but not limited to, walls, floors, etc.

Moves and/or relocates furniture.

Maintain records and inventory of cleaning supplies and prepared lists of supplies to be purchased.

Uses cleaning equipment including Zamboni, electric buffers, mops, large wringers, and other necessary equipment, tools, chemicals and supplies.

Deals with the customer in courteous, professional and effective manner.

Complies with Foreign Object Damage (FOD), Hazardous Waste and Tool Control Programs.

Complies with all established general and industrial safety rules and regulations as applicable to the contract, facility and job assignment.

Assists as directed to ensure safety, security and preservation of Government/Company Owned equipment.

Maintains the highest ethical personal and professional standards.

Other projects and initiatives as assigned.

POSITION SCOPE AND CHARTER

+ Must be able to work weekends, other shifts and overtime as required.

+ The essential physical requirements of the position will be reviewed with the applicant during the interview.

+ Must adhere to Company policies/procedures and management instruction.

+ Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and Company Proprietary data.

+ Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

LICENSING AND CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

+ Formal or Specialized Training or Equivalent

+ High School Degree or equivalent

+ Hazardous Communication Training

+ FOD and TCP Awareness Trained

+ Security Clearance Awareness Training

+ Valid States Drivers License

+ Operational Risk Management (ORM) Training

+ Zamboni Certified

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS

This classification activity is usually accomplished in a warehouse environment and as such requires the scope of physical movements and postures normally associated with warehousing activities. May be required to lift objects whose weight normally will not exceed 50 pounds. Special vision abilities required to perform this job are close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust and focus.

The work conditions may range from an environment where there is little or no physical discomfort, to an environment where inclement weather may subject individual to severe changes of temperature, wind, rain, etc. May be required to work in areas where high noise hazards prevail. May be exposed to fumes or airborne particles. May be exposed to electrical shock hazards.
