**UW MEDICINE IT SERVICES** has an outstanding job opportunity for an **Applications Analyst 1 – Risk and Employee Health Systems** position.
PLEASE NOTE: This position is only open to current UW employees.** **WORK SCHEDULE
+ 100% FTE – 40 hours per week
+ Day Shift – UW MEDICINE ITS SERVICES CORE HOURS ARE 08:00 – 17:00 (PST), Monday-Friday
+ Required participation in team on call schedule **DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION** **UW Medicine IT Services (ITS)** is a shared services organization that supports all of UW Medicine. UW Medicine is comprised of Harborview Medical Center (HMC), UW Medical Center-Montlake Campus (UWMC-Montlake), UW Medical Center-Northwest Campus (UWMC-NW), Valley Medical Center (VMC), UW Medicine Primary Care (UWMPC), UW Physicians (UWP), UW School of Medicine (SOM), and Airlift Northwest (ALNW). ITS is responsible for the ongoing support and maintenance of the infrastructure and applications which support all these institutions, along with the implementation of new services and applications that are used to support and further the UW Medicine mission.

+ 100% matching, 100% immediately vesting 403(b) **PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Analyze customer business and technical requirements and issues, recommending solutions
+ Design, build, test, and implement enhancements to meet functional requirements
+ Provide production support and ongoing system troubleshooting, maintenance, monitoring, and training
+ Manage projects, processes, and documentation to support customer needs
The Analyst will perform Tier 1 activities, requiring basic experience with application build, troubleshooting, and maintenance. The Analyst will be assigned standard, intermediate-level project tasks.
REQUIREMENTS
+ Bachelor’s degree Computer Science, Health Information Systems, Math, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent combination of education/experience
+ **Desired, but not required:** Experience with Risk and Employee Health systems
+ 2+ years recent healthcare or IT experience
+ Exposure to EHR systems application maintenance/support
+ Demonstrates a strong customer-oriented mindset, with experience effectively satisfying their expectations
+ Experience participating in the process of defining and gathering customer requirements
+ Experience assisting team members and sharing knowledge
+ Proficiency with desktop computers and Office applications
+ Exposure to database structures, data definitions, and data relationships
+ Exposure to formal project management methods
