Job Summary
The Rehabilitation Technician supports the daily operations of the therapy and rehabilitation departments by performing a variety of routine, non-clinical tasks. Under the supervision of a licensed therapist or therapist assistant, the technician may assist with patient-related activities as predetermined for each patient. Key responsibilities include assisting with patient handling, transporting materials, maintaining supplies, supporting routine exercise activities, and contributing to a clean and safe environment through equipment sterilization and general housekeeping duties.
Education Requirements
+ High school diploma or GED required.
Licensure & Certification
+ Current CPR certification required, or must be obtained within 60 days of hire.
Experience Requirements
+ One year of experience in a patient care setting preferred, particularly in a caregiver or related role.
Other Qualifications
+ Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds independently and 100 pounds with assistance.
+ Must be capable of pushing up to 300 pounds.
+ Strong interpersonal skills, reliability, and the ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team are essential.
