Job Summary
The Honors program invites applications for a LEO I Lecturer, non-tenure-track appointment which begins August 27, 2025, through December 30, 2025 for the FALL 2025 term. Contractual full-time rate per term is $25,500; term salary is dependent on number of courses taught and course effort percentage, up to 66.67% appointment for the Fall 2025 term. The successful candidate will be comfortable teaching in person for the following courses:
HONS 300: Four Trials (4 credits, 33.33% effort)
To teach habits of informed criticism based on critical analysis of primary and secondary texts. This course will give Honors students the opportunity to learn reflective, critical listening and inquiry skills, which are essential to informed discussion of the Honors core course material.
HONS 312: Ways of Seeing (4 credits, 33.33% effort)
A humanities-based interdisciplinary course designed to explore topics of public engagement and ethical responsibility that is building on the previous class: driven by a question of how we can apply ways of knowing in different forms of engagement.

Required Qualifications*
+ Master degree or Ph.D. in Humanities
+ Previous teaching experience
+ Ability to teach in various modalities (online or classroom)
