**Schedule:** Full Time

**Shift** : 12 hour shifts Nights 7:00pm-7:00am OR Days 7:00am-7:00pm. Weekend rotation required

The community you’ll be caring for:** **AdventHealth Daytona – Emergency Department

The role you’ll contribute:

Responsible for the continual observation, documentation and communication of all cardiac rhythm strip monitoring in designated units, as ordered by the patient’s physician.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

• Obtains, interprets, and documents cardiac monitoring data per standard, documenting per standard in the telemetry monitoring system.

• Documents changes in heart rhythms per policy.

• Communicates changes in patient’s rhythm pattern and follows escalation process as applicable.

• Assesses and maintains telemetry equipment to ensure proper functioning.

• Enters all telemetry charges if applicable.

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed** **:

+ **Minimum qualifications** :

+ High school diploma or (GED) equivalent required

+ **Preferred qualifications:**

• One (1) year monitor tech experience preferred.

• Medical terminology.
