    We are seeking a Senior Manager of Learning & Development to help envision and relaunch our L&D function. Reporting to the Senior Director of Talent Enablement, this is a high-impact, high-visibility role responsible for designing, developing, and delivering engaging learning programs that support employee growth and business success. This individual will manage end-to-end learning initiatives, from strategy and design to execution and measurement, ensuring our programs are both effective and scalable.

     

    The ideal candidate has 10-12 years of experience in L&D program management, adult learning theory, and instructional design. They should be capable of building both instructor-led and asynchronous courses and skilled in measuring learning effectiveness. They will also mentor a junior L&D professional while working cross-functionally with leaders across the company.

    You will be responsible for:

    + L&D Strategy & Program Development

    + Design, launch, and manage innovative learning programs aligned with company goals.

    + Develop both instructor-led training (ILT) and asynchronous learning experiences to support employee development at all levels.

    + Leverage adult learning theory and best practices to create effective, engaging content.

    + Instructional Design & Content Creation

    + Design and build learning experiences with an initial focus on Leadership Development.

    + Develop interactive, engaging, and scalable courses tailored to a variety of learning styles.

    + Implement microlearning, blended learning, and technology-driven learning solutions.

    + Program Measurement & Continuous Improvement

    + Establish key metrics to assess learning effectiveness and impact.

    + Use feedback, data, and analytics to refine and enhance learning experiences.

    + Present findings and recommendations to senior leaders.

    + Mentorship & Collaboration

    + Lead and mentor a junior L&D professional, providing guidance and development opportunities.

    + Partner with HR, business leaders, and SMEs to ensure training programs meet organizational needs.

    + Work comfortably across all levels of the organization, including executive leadership.

    About you:

    + 10-12 years of experience in Learning & Development, with expertise in program management, instructional design, and learning measurement.

    + Proven experience designing and delivering both ILT and asynchronous learning programs.

    + Ability to work independently, drive projects from inception to launch, and thrive in a fast-paced setting.

    + Deep understanding of adult learning theory, instructional design principles, and learning technologies; advanced education in adult learning/L&D preferred.

    + Track record of successfully launching and scaling L&D programs in a corporate environment.

    + Strong proficiency in Articulate 360 and Vyond (or similar tools) for course development.

    + Experience with LMS administration, including enrolling users and managing SCORM files.

    + Working knowledge of (or ability to quickly learn) various SAAS like the Google Suite, EverFi, Workday, etc.

    + Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with experience engaging senior leaders and stakeholders.

    + Creativity and a passion for developing engaging, innovative learning experiences.

    + Location: work in the heart of Seattle or San Francisco. This job requires at least two days per week in one of these downtown office locations.

     

    _The approximate annual base compensation range is $177,000 to $224,000. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package and benefits, will be determined by a number of factors including the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, geography, as well as internal equity among our team._
