A Kaniksu Community Health Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)/Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) is not just responsible for providing excellent customer service. They are committed to providing an excellent patient experience while performing essential clinical or administrative work in a fast-paced, productive environment. YOU ARE an essential team member charged with assisting patients in managing their care at Kaniksu Community Health.
Under the direction of the KCH Director of Nursing, Director of Clinical Operations and Medical Staff Providers and as a member of the Kaniksu Community Health Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) Team, a typical day might include of a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)/Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) might include;
+ Assist in clinical care and patient support
+ Take and document vital signs and patient history
+ Support health screenings and community outreach efforts
+ Help manage patient flow during clinic hours
+ Collaborate with nurses, providers, and support staff
Experience Needed to Land this Gig:
+ Active CNA or EMT certification/license in Idaho
+ CPR certification (BLS preferred)
+ Minimum 1+ year of experience in a healthcare setting preferred
+ Ability to work with diverse populations with compassion and respect
+ Strong communication and teamwork skills
+ Personal commitment to the organization's mission and values
Work Schedule:
Part Time
No. of Hours/week – 20-25
Tuesday to Thursday
