Is safety your passion? PDS tech is hiring a EHS Specialist for one of our clients

in Ronkonkoma New York. This is a 12 to 18 month contract role that may extend. Schedule is 7am-3:30pm and pays $32-$42 per hour depending on experience.

Responsibilities

+ Directs the implementation of occupational safety, health, and environmental programs.

+ Performs safety risk analysis and evaluates effectiveness of defenses to mitigate employee injury.

+ Develops and delivers EHS training programs to various audiences.

+ Leads investigations into EHS related events and implements corrective actions.

+ Inspects facilities and safety equipment to identify and correct potential hazards.

+ Maintains health and safety documentation, including OSHA programs.

+ Encourages the use of safe work rules and practices.

**Pay Details:** $32.00 to $42.00 per hour
