Vice President, Ancillary Services

Summary of Responsibilities
• Set strategic vision for national ancillary programs that support company and financial goals
• Build supplier partnerships that drive efficiency, growth, and long-term value
• Ensure each program runs smoothly and delivers measurable results to residents and property owners
• Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to align strategies
• Grow ancillary revenue while enhancing resident experience and client satisfaction
• Lead with clarity, confidence, and a people-first approach that empowers teams and delivers results
Primary Responsibilities and Objectives
• Set strategic direction for onboarding and scaling all national ancillary programs across the Avenue5 portfolio
• Oversee compliance and performance for all national partner programs. Align with legal, operational, and financial standards.
• Analyze and interpret sales and performance data for optional national programs. Make recommendations to executive leadership.
• Identify market trends and partnership opportunities to enhance Avenue5 offerings
• Set the vision for new and existing national programs
• Build strong relationships with internal teams and national suppliers
• Ensure all national programs follow Avenue5 policies and comply with local, state, and federal laws
• Champion a culture of accountability, innovation, and improvement across the ancillary team
• Perform other responsibilities as directed
Education and Experience
• High school diploma is required. Bachelor’s degree in marketing or other business-related fields is preferred
• Two to five years of property management experience required
• Two or more years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or sourcing experience preferred
• One to two years of experience in Yardi Voyager or other equivalent systems is preferred
• One to two years of experience in Salesforce or other equivalent system is preferred
Skills and Requirements
• Intermediate level knowledge with MS Office Suite including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel (including Excel functions)
• Proven ability to firmly manage challenging situations, negotiate pricing, improve quality, reduce lead times, and strengthen partnerships with quality suppliers
• Possess a basic understanding of supply chain management concepts
• Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented and a desire to learn
• Required to complete and successfully pass the Avenue5 Fair Housing and Preventing Discrimination and Harassment training and other courses, if assigned
Scheduling
• Required to maintain a regular schedule which may require working overtime, weekends, and non-traditional holidays
• Ability to travel at least 20%, which could include overnight
Environment
• Exposure to environment typically found in an office building
• Frequent exposure to airports, airplanes, rental cars, hotels, etc.

• Ability to work under minimal to moderate supervision
