    The Global Timekeeping Product Group delivers and supports critical systems for accurately managing time, absence, and other workforce management functions essential for paying Ford Motor Company's hourly and salaried employees. Our objective is to modernize these systems, and improve the long-term sustainability of these systems by reducing technology complexity, introducing industry-standard capabilities, and simplifying business processes.

     

    We are seeking a Product Manager to advance and lead the Timekeeping Modernization Program, across all US and Canada plants, focusing on the Entry to Exit end-to-end process. This significant initiative involves implementing WorkForce Software (WFS), a cloud-based SaaS solution, to replace legacy Timekeeping systems. WFS will provide a standardized solution for multiple WorkForce Management functions, including: timekeeping, attendance, job scheduling, and absence management.

     

    As the Product Manager, you will collaborate with business and IT Product Owners, other Product Teams, and Technology and Solution Implementation vendors. Your role is critical in delivering WFS for our hourly workforce, enhancing employee and user experience, enabling pay accuracy, and streamlining business processes. You will partner with Ford Product Managers from the program to jointly lead the effort to enable a sustainable and simplified process redesign, leveraging all the capabilities of WFS while ensuring seamless functional and technical integration with several key upstream and downstream applications. This role requires deep expertise in Product Management, Product Group Integration, and Program Management.

     

    + Build and lead an effective Product Management/Product Owner team.

    + Understand Business Owner needs, develop objectives and key results, and validate solutions.

    + Develop and communicate the Product and Product Group vision, strategy, and functional/non-functional roadmaps.

    + Work with cross-functional product teams to ensure the overall success of a portfolio of integrated products.

    + Collaborate internally and externally to translate strategic ideas into measurable integration specifications, requirement documentation, and solutions.

    + Identify, lead, and prioritize product team deliverables in the Product backlog.

    + Coordinate with other workstreams, including the UK Timekeeping Modernization project and the US/Canada Pilot project, and external Solution implementation partners.

    + Drive timely and meaningful Program and Project Governance.

    + Work with global peers to enable aligned and standardized processes and best practices.

    + Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.

    + 10+ years of IT experience.

    + 3-5+ years of hands on experience in a Project and Program Management role.

    + 5+ years of experience in a leadership role.

    + In-depth Security and Control knowledge, especially for S-Ox applications.

    + Prior exposure to global, diverse, and cross-functional IT teams.

    + Ability to see the big picture, identify patterns and dependencies in very complex projects, and decompose complex systems into their foundational elements.

    + Ability to communicate effectively (written and oral) with working-level technical teams as well as individuals at all levels of the organization (Business and IT).

    + Proven ability to develop a strong IT Point of View and influence stakeholders for buy-in.

    + Passion for driving features to completion that are valuable, scalable, and sustainable.

    + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    + Technical knowledge of the IT software development cycle and Technology lifecycles.

    + Experience with cloud-based SaaS products.

    + Experience implementing large-scale global applications.

    + Proven ability to 'Own Working Together' with various IT and business organizations.

    + Excellent organizational skills.

    + Hands-on experience with processes such as Financial Planning, Vendor Selection, Contract Management, Consumption Planning, and Resource Management.

    + Hands-on experience with financial reporting and systems.

    + Experience with PDO concepts/Agile methodologies and related framework/tools (e.g., Jira, Rally, Clarity, or similar).

    + Background or experience supporting business function teams such as Human Resources, Labor Affairs, Finance, or Manufacturing Plant Floor operations.

    + Experience with WorkForce Software is preferred.
