Job Description

Cooperative education is a structured educational strategy integrating classroom studies with learning through productive work experiences in a field related to a student's academic or career goals. It provides progressive experiences in integrating theory and practice.

Essential Duties

Cooperative education is a partnership among students, educational institutions and employers, with specified responsibilities for each party. Cooperative education is usually associated with manufacturing positions, and requires more hands-on skills.

Positions intended for vo-tech welding students in their junior/senior year

These positions are intended for vo-tech welding students in their junior and senior year of high school.

The employee is frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and talk or hear. The employee will frequently walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/ or move up to 50 lbs. Specific vision requirements such as color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
