In this position...

EMDO Prototype Manufacturing/Process Engineer is responsible for the development of complete process of manufacturing assigned component. From billet or casting to finish product ready for assembly.

What you'll do...

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

+ Process sheets and illustrations

+ Tooling and purchasing of tooling

+ All quality inspections required throughout machining process

+ Daily review of any deviations found with machining process

+ E-Warrant submission of parts ready for assembly

+ Collaboration with UAW workforce for processes and modifications to processes

+ Team approach for all parts within the EMDO Machining Process

+ Constant communication with PD Engineers as well as PTME Engineers

+ Knowledge and willingness to implement MLP when possible and deep understanding of MLP Principles

+ Highlight any manufacturing concerns and ability to communicate solutions to workforce and Upper Management

You'll have...

Qualifications:

+ Minimum Bachelors in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, etc.)

+ 5-7 years machining background

+ Deep understanding of machining concepts

+ Blueprint reading and interpretation

+ Familiar with Ford IT Systems (Microsoft Word, Excel, Web-Ex, Team Center, etc.)

This position is a range of salary grades 7-8.
