    Material Control Supervisor

    What you'll do...

     

    This is an onsite position that will require flexibility including the ability to work any shift, including nights, weekends and most holidays. There is no hybrid option for this position.

    Responsible for delivering objectives including but not limited to:

    •Inbound, outbound, and claims processing

    •Building Safety, positive UAW Relationships, Error Rate, Denial Rate, Inventory Accuracy, Overtime Percentage, Absenteeism, Vacation Scheduling, Grid Time, On Time Delivery, Efficiency, Accurate Timekeeping in TWOS, Process Adherence/Improvement, Accountability, Customer Satisfaction, Accurate Application of the Ford-UAW National and Local Contracts.

    • Overall Building Organization and Cleanliness, and willingness to work any shift as required.

    •Attend, facilitate, and submit proper documentation for crew meetings.

    •Prepare/maintain work related records as needed.

    •Schedule manpower (including overtime and vacation).

    •Champion and lead continuous improvement initiatives toward best-in-class performance.

     

    You'll have...

     

    •High School Diploma or GED.

    •3+ years of warehouse management or supervising experience

    •3+ years of warehouse safety experience

    •3+ years of experience with claims processing, inbound, and outbound

     

    Even better, you may have...

     

    •Bachelor’s degree preferred.

    •Knowledge of or ability to quickly learn current systems (SAP/EWM)

    •Excellent oral and written communication skills.

    •Ability to interpret data, evaluate actions, and reach logical conclusions independently.

    •Goal oriented mindset.

    •A continuous Improvement mindset with a focus on quality and cost control.

    •Excellent organizational skills and ability to ensure accountability from all employees.

    •Proven dependability record and successful team-oriented experience.

    •Must have ability and experience to work in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure to meet and/or exceed dealer shipping deadlines.
