    Overview

     

    The Lead Analytics Data Analyst is responsible for leading the discipline of health information analysis as well as the review, assessment, validation, and development of data management processes to support Fairview's health initiatives. This role will work in a team environment to lead design, development, and execution of data transformation into actionable information and automated external data submission processes. This role is key to supporting system and network level clinical and financial performance. The Analyst will create and maintain state-of-the-art information assets using but not limited to, requirements gathering, benchmarking, trending, opportunity analysis and predictive modeling This role works independently and provides oversight of team members to design, document, and develop solutions to deliver data and analytics to clinical and operational decision-makers. This team leader will follow, and assure others follow, best practices in development, testing, and deployment of data and analytics solutions. The lead team member will assure that peer review and user acceptance testing of product is satisfactorily completed prior to deployment or delivery of work product. In addition to oversight of junior team members, the lead team member will also provide coaching/mentoring and guidance to enhance skills and capabilities. Leads may step in as temporary support when deliverables are delayed, requirements are unclear, or when there is an impact to deliverables to executive leaders and/or strategic partners. Customer service skills, service-oriented leadership skills, in addition to logical and analytical problem-solving skills are critical. Experience with healthcare data, and its unique terminology, will be critical to efficiently delivering solutions to consumers.

    Required Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s Degree in related field, or equivalent combination of relevant experience and education

    + 7+ years of demonstrated analytical skills with high attention to detail and quality

    + 7+ years of demonstrated technical and interpersonal communication skills

    + 7+ years of demonstrated strong organizational and time management skills

    + 7+ years of demonstrated ability to effectively manage and organize multiple projects and responsibilities

    + 7+ years of SQL(PL/SQL or T-SQL) and Crystal report or PowerBI reporting experience

    + 7+ years of demonstrated strong quantitative and analytic skills

    + 7+ years of demonstrated ability to think creatively and work collaboratively to address problems

    + 7+ years of demonstrated ability to write and present data visualization and presentations

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Master’s Degree in a Clinical field, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or other quantitative discipline

    + 7+ years of experience in healthcare data analysis and/or report writing

    + Experience with reporting Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) within an enterprise Electronic Health Record (EHR)

    Compensation Disclaimer

     

    The posted pay range is for a 40-hour workweek (1.0 FTE). The actual rate of pay offered within this range may depend on several factors, such as FTE, skills, knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions.
