**Pay Rate:** $21.00/hour

**Schedule:** Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (In-Office Only)

**Assignment Type:** Long term assignment-Possible permanent placement for the right candidate

Position Overview:

We’re seeking a **reliable** , detail-oriented, and service-driven **Entry-Level Section 8 Housing Case Worker** to join our team in New Haven, CT. In this full-time, in-office role, you’ll help individuals and families access and maintain affordable housing. If you're a quick learner with excellent people skills and a strong attendance record, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Assist clients with applications and documentation for housing assistance

+ Determine eligibility and ensure compliance

+ Coordinate with landlords, tenants, and property managers on lease matters

+ Support tenants in maintaining program requirements and stable housing

+ Maintain accurate records, manage case files, and update databases

+ Respond promptly and professionally to calls, emails, and walk-ins

+ Thrive in a fast-paced office setting requiring **multitasking** and focus

Qualifications:

+ **Strong attendance and punctuality required** – reliability is a must!

+ Customer service experience required; **call center experience a plus**

+ Proficiency with **Microsoft Office** (Word, Excel, Outlook)

+ Excellent communication and organizational skills

+ **Bilingual (English/Spanish)** strongly preferred

+ High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree in human services or related field a plus

+ Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
