Director, Pricing Strategy & Operations As the Director, Pricing Strategy & Operations you will be responsible for developing, implementing and managing pricing strategies and infrastructure - leveraging technology, analytics, and cross-functional collaboration - to optimize revenue, ensure profitability, and align with overall business objectives.
We're seeking a self-motivated leader who can independently translate strategic pricing concepts into actionable plans and drive end-to-end initiatives. The ideal candidate thrives on minimal direction, proactively identifying opportunities, and delivering measurable results.
Essential Functions & Requirements:
+ Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and maintaining safe practices at all times
+ Implements and manages pricing infrastructure; establishes and maintains pricing policies, tools, systems and metrics to ensure consistent, data-driven decision making
+ Drives pricing optimization technology and introduces and manages technology-based pricing solutions to minimize revenue leakage and deliver measurable financial benefits
+ Oversees the integration of pricing tools and technology with Salesforce and CMMS systems to ensure seamless data flow and functionality
+ Provides strategic leadership and coordinates cross-functional teams to deliver pricing initiatives on time and within scope, achieving targeted outcomes
+ Develops, communicates and monitors pricing strategies and guidelines using both basic pricing analysis and advanced analytics to support product and deal pricing
+ Utilizes data analysis tools and methodologies to identify optimization opportunities and inform strategic pricing decisions
+ Builds simulation models to assess potential revenue impact, profitability, and scenario planning for new pricing strategies
+ Creates executive-level dashboards and reports (e.g. in Tableau or Power BI) to track pricing performance and provide actionable insights
+ Acts as a subject matter expert in establishing measurable performance indicators, reporting frameworks and continuous improvement targets for pricing
+ Collaborates with finance to ensure pricing structures support broader business objectives, forecasting accuracy, and profitability goals
+ Works closely with the Sales team to develop pricing models and negotiation tools that align with sales strategies and customer needs
+ Provides Sales teams with comprehensive pricing playbooks, guidance, and best practice standards to navigate complex pricing discussions and drive profitable growth
+ Takes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization
Education:
+ Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, data analytics or related field (required)
Experience:
+ 7+ years of progressive experience in pricing, finance, revenue management or related work (required)
+ Proven track record of implementing pricing tools and systems (e.g. CPQ, CRM, BI dashboards) and integrating them into broader organizational workflows, Salesforce, CMMS, etc. (required)
+ Hands-on experience with pricing analytics, modeling, and simulation, including the use of business intelligence platforms (Tableau, Power BI) and advanced Excel techniques (required)
+ Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional projects, managing timelines and delivering measurable outcomes in fast-paced settings (required)
+ Experience partnering closely with Sales, Finance, and Operations teams to develop and execute effective pricing strategies (required)
+ Experience balancing both high-level strategic aspects of pricing (market insights, competitive positioning) and the day-to-day operational tasks such as system administration and pricing policy execution (required)

+ Revenue & Margin Impact Tracks uplift in revenue and improvements in gross margin attributed to pricing strategies
+ Price Realization & Discount Compliance Measures the actual price achieved versus the target or list price and adherence to discount guidelines
+ Win Rate & Deal Velocity Evaluates how pricing influences the ratio of won deals to total opportunities and the speed of deal closure
+ Tool Adoption & Integration Assesses the utilization of pricing systems (e.g., CPQ, BI dashboards) and successful integration with CRM/CMMS platforms
+ Project Delivery & ROI on Pricing Initiatives Gauges whether pricing projects are completed on time, within scope, and delivering a measurable return on investment
