    Responsibilities:

    A level I supervisor is considered a working supervisor with little authority for personnel actions and will only work 2 days per week in the Supervisor Role with the remaining time as a MT/MLT. Organizes and directs the daily activities of the laboratory. Conducts and oversees quality assurance and quality control. Collects, analyzes, and interprets lab results. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Minimum 3-5 years of previous experience. Previous supervisory experience required.
