    Job Summary

    The Catering Manager oversees all aspects of the Catering Department, including training staff, coordinating event logistics, and managing temporary personnel. This role ensures high-quality service throughout each event-from setup and execution to breakdown-while maintaining client satisfaction and operational standards.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Lead and supervise over 400 catering events annually, ensuring flawless execution.

    + Manage event logistics, food quality, sanitation, and overall facility operations.

    + Collaborate with the Chef to develop custom menus.

    + Train staff on service techniques, presentation, and customer service.

    + Monitor labor and food costs for events totaling $350K-$400K annually within a $4-4.5M overall account.

    + Maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and service excellence.

    + Support all foodservice operations as needed.

    + Perform additional duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    + Minimum 2 years of food service experience, with at least 1 year in management.

    + Required catering experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, or healthcare.

    + Strong knowledge of food and catering trends, quality assurance, sanitation, and cost controls.

    + Proficiency in budgeting, financial reporting, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

    + ServSafe Certification required.

    + Open availability, including nights and weekends.
