Applicants for this role have the flexibility to work remotely anywhere in the Continental United States.

**Position Purpose:** In this role you will be a key member of the Regulatory Reporting Group who will assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the department

+ Review and file staff prepared quarterly and annual NAIC filings, ensuring compliance with NAIC and other regulatory requirements

+ Work closely with internal partners and external auditors to complete legal entity external audits

+ Approve staff journal entries to the general ledger

+ Participate on state DOI exams and respond to DOI/NAIC analyst questions

+ Mentor staff and encourage further development of their skillsets

+ Participate in Statutory training sessions for staff

+ Assist on department projects as needed

Education/Experience:

+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, related field or equivalent experience.

+ 6+ years of related accounting experience.

+ Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, other spreadsheet applications and accounting software applications.

+ Previous experience as a lead in a functional area, managing cross functional teams on large scale projects or supervisory experience including hiring, training, assigning work and managing the performance of staff.

+ Statutory Reporting experience strongly preferred

+ Healthcare experience strongly preferred

Pay Range: $86,000.00 - $154,700.00 per year

Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
