We are seeking a **Field Competence Development Manager, Americas** to lead the development of technical and safety competencies for our frontline employees across North America. In this role, you will take a data-driven approach to planning, implementing, and overseeing training initiatives. You will collaborate with Learning & Development colleagues, technical trainers, and key business stakeholders to ensure effective and relevant learning experiences that align with operational needs.
Responsibilities:
+ Lead Americas field competence development strategy by collaborating closely with relevant stakeholders (MDs, Operations, Safety, and P&C Unit HR) to conduct needs analysis, identify areas of improvements, and offer expert advice on the most effective learning strategies and solutions to optimize performance of field employees. Work closely with global L&D team to align learning solutions based on needs analysis results.
+ Design and create innovative learning programs that are closely tailored to meet the business goals and objectives of the field, ensuring they are engaging, interactive, and aligned with industry best practices. Validate global learning solutions against Americas learning needs.
+ Manage field trainer network to ensure effective deployment of learning solutions. Partner with key business partners to determine who gets trained in Training Centers (what/where/who/when and ROI) to ensure Training Center offering, services and business relevance across the Americas. Develop KONE learning assets such as Training Centers towards the agreed vision, strategy and full utilization. Ensure successful onboarding of new trainers including trainer skill certification. Manage L&D field training plan and deployment. Communicate, deploy, and manage new L&D solutions as determined by global.
+ Conduct thorough and comprehensive evaluations of the effectiveness of learning programs, analyzing both quantitative and qualitative data to identify areas for improvement, and provide insightful recommendations to enhance and optimize the learning experience. Provide field training insights and data with recommendations for continuous development to business stakeholders.
+ Ensure process discipline, data accuracy and HR operating model compliance for field competence development. Conduct data audits to identify risks and identify strategies to improve data quality. Partner with HR Services to streamline processes. Ensure trainer network process discipline to ensure data quality.
+ Responsible for training center audits and field maturity model assessments in the area
+ Lead operations steering for L&D in the Americas
**Required Skills & Abilities** :
+ Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to consult effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
+ Knowledge of learning technologies and platforms
+ Excellent data management and analytical skills
+ Field/Technical training skills
+ Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred
+ Minimum of 5 years of experience within Learning & Development in field/technical context
**Education Requirements** :
Postgraduate qualification in engineering, safety, technical or behavioral science or Minimum of 5 years of experience within Learning & Development in field/technical context.

The hiring range for this role is $121,800.00 – 167,500.00. The compensation package offered will depend on their ability to meet the requirements of the role and a range of factors unique to each candidate, including their skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and location.
