    Knowledge

    + Advanced understanding of marketplace dynamics, supplier profiles, and technical processes/capabilities across complex Direct Materials categories (e.g., Electronics, Metals, Plastics, Electromechanical Assemblies).

    + Deep knowledge of supply chain management principles, strategic sourcing methodologies, and supplier relationship management (SRM).

    + Proficiency in market analysis, benchmarking, total cost modeling, and spend analysis.

    Skills

    + Strong analytical aptitude, including expertise in financial modeling, should-cost analysis, and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) evaluation.

    + Exceptional communication and presentation skills to articulate category strategies and influence stakeholders effectively.

    + Mastery of negotiation and conflict resolution to secure favorable supplier agreements and drive collaboration.

    + Ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams without direct authority.

    + Strategic problem-solving and decision-making skills, coupled with a sense of urgency to deliver results.

    Experience

    + A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (MBA/Master’s degree preferred).

    + Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Global Strategic Sourcing, or equivalent.

    + Proven track record in leading complex sourcing projects, supplier negotiations, and cost reduction initiatives.

    + Demonstrated ability to manage supplier performance and drive results through strategic relationships.

    Travel:

    + Up to 20% travel

    The annualized base salary range for this role is $96,500 to $160,800 and is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand.
