Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to join our team supporting the Department of Defense (DoD) in the development, integration, and sustainment of Navy and Air Force systems. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of mission-critical capabilities.

Responsibilities Include:
+ **Requirements Analysis & System Design:** Translate operational needs into system requirements and specifications, ensuring alignment with Navy and Air Force standards and operational objectives.
+ **System Integration & Testing:** Oversee the integration of hardware and software components, conducting thorough testing to validate system performance and compliance with DoD specifications.
+ **Lifecycle Management:** Manage the full system lifecycle, from concept development through deployment and sustainment, ensuring systems meet cost, schedule, and performance goals.
+ **Technical Documentation:** Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including system architectures, test plans, and user manuals, in compliance with DoD standards.
+ **Stakeholder Collaboration:** Work closely with personnel, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure system requirements are met and to address any technical challenges that arise.
+ **Continuous Improvement:** Identify opportunities for system enhancements and process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
+ Proficiency in system modeling and simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB, Simulink).
+ Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies and tools (e.g., Cameo, Rhapsody).
+ Familiarity with Navy and Air Force combat systems such as AEGIS, SSDS, and C4ISR systems.
+ Knowledge of system integration and testing processes for mission-critical platforms.
+ Understanding of system verification and validation processes.
+ Will perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/ Technical Experience Requirements:
+ Must be a US citizen
+ Top Secret Security Clearance.
+ Advanced Electrical Engineering degree (MA/MS) and 12 years of experience in aircraft systems, of which 5 years must be in the DoD, OR a BA/BS degree and 15 years of experience in Electrical Engineering, of which 5 year must be in the DoD with aircraft systems, or 20 years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the Functionally Aligned Job Descriptions, of which 8 year must be in the DoD.
