    The Technology Business Enablement (TBE) team powers American Express Tech Strategy by enabling Predictability, Transparency, and Efficiency through best-in-class Tech Business Management capabilities. Within TBE is the Technology Portfolio Transformation team which powers technology, business, and product to achieve business and customer value by optimizing technology investments, elevating transparency and enabling decisioning through trusted insights and best in class portfolio and program management.

     

    Within the Technology Portfolio Transformation team, the Digital Product Manager will oversee and optimize the management of our data as a product strategy, including data capture, data curation and data consumption. This role combines operational oversight, strategic planning, and thought leadership to ensure the seamless operation and migration of data across our tooling ecosystem and data architecture. The successful candidate will drive a robust agile solutions strategy, planning and implementation, and ensure effective change management to support the organization’s data driven reporting and modeling initiatives.

     

    Moreover, as a leader of a high-performing technology portfolio organization, this candidate will have a passion for process innovation, data-driven mindset, relentless attention to detail, and the ability to build and leverage meaningful relationships with the team and partners.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Communicate and execute the **Data as a Product roadmap** , managing risks and ensuring smooth delivery.

    + Collaborate with **cross-functional teams** to align strategy, vision, and execution.

    + Lead **product strategy discussions** , identifying opportunities and driving innovation.

    + Partner with **product, engineering, and data science teams** to unlock actionable insights and enhance financial, portfolio, and agile management data and reporting offering.

    + Drive **data design** for complex solutions, ensuring consistency with architecture principles and performance standards

    + Develop and implement **master data management, metadata governance, and data architecture** strategies to optimize business applications and reporting.

    + Utilize **data analysis tools** to enhance operational efficiency and decision-making.

    Education and Experience

    + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.

    + Experience in product management, project management, agile transformation or similar role.

    + Data management, data science or business analytics background.

    + Proven track record of strong leadership and strategic thinking.

    Technical Skills

    + Working knowledge of Power BI, Python, SQL, and Data Warehouse concepts.

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Certified Scrum Product Owner/Manager (CSPO), SAFe Agilist, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or similar agile certifications.

    + Financial Acumen

    + Agile delivery

    + Portfolio Management

    Qualifications

    Salary Range: $90,000.00 to $165,000.00 annually bonus benefits
