+ Meticulously prepare complex media at various scales to support cell culture for various iPSC differentiation workflows, ensuring timely and accurate execution of requested formulations.
+ Read, review, and execute SOPs for preparation of reagents, stock solutions, and media handling and formulation.
+ Track expiry of corresponding stock solutions and complete complex media.
+ Maintain an updated media inventory database for forecasting, tracking raw material use & stock, lot usage, and overall material performance.
+ Maintain accurate and meticulous record keeping with internal ELN system, independent data analysis, and reporting of data in written and oral formats.
+ Perform work in full compliance with safety policies and technical protocols and complete all required training activities in the timeframe specified.
+ Perform complex algebraic mathematical calculations with high accuracy to determine critical parameters such as molarity, molality, and percentages.
+ Precisely calculate volumes of solution components based on intricate mathematical formulas, ensuring exact proportions for experimental and manufacturing processes.
+ Troubleshoot media preparation challenges and deviations when necessary.
+ Collaborate with process development scientists to support high throughput optimization of media formulations for scale-up, reproducibility, and cost-efficiency.
+ Operate automation platforms (e.g., liquid handlers, automated dispensers, robotic mixing systems) to support streamlined media preparation, increasing throughput, reproducibility, and data traceability.
Minimum Qualifications:
+ B.S. and/or M.S. in biological or biochemical sciences (or a related field). B.S., 1-2 years of experience or M.S., less than 1 year of experience.
+ Demonstrated proficiency in aseptic technique and reagent, stock solution, and complex cell culture media preparations.
+ Advanced skills in algebraic calculations: molarity, percentages, solution component volumes.
+ Unwavering commitment to safety protocols and procedures
+ Proven capacity to ensure work product quality and understand the impact on downstream processes.
+ Work within a team-oriented lab environment and work within cross-functional project teams.
+ Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Exposure to automated systems (e.g., liquid handlers, automated dispensers, robotic mixing systems).
+ Track record of working in or supporting high-throughput or high-volume laboratory environments.

Additional Details:
Position is Full Time, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm with occasional weekends (once every 1-2 months) to support cell culture. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Boston, MA are encouraged to apply.
