Minimum Qualifications:

Associate's degree or equivalent and three years related experience

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Parking access gate experience.

+ Experience with point-of-sale systems.

+ Communication networking experience.

+ Software support experience.

+ Server support experience.

Job Summary:

To provide intermediate level specialized skills in the design, construction, maintenance, and repair of scientific, electronic, computer, or mechanical equipment.

Job Duties:

+ Develops and tests machinery, and computer or electronic equipment.

+ Draws detail drawings or sketches for fabrication.

+ Devises or assembles new or modified mechanical or electronic components.

+ Conducts tests to obtain data for development, standardization, and quality control.

+ Repairs, calibrates, and maintains equipment.

+ Consults with medical or research personnel to ascertain that equipment functions properly and safely.

+ Repairs equipment and utilizes machinery, and electronic or computer instrumentation.

+ UTMB Auxiliary Enterprises’ equipment maintenance and repairs.

+ Equipment spare part inventory management.

+ Adheres to internal controls established for department.

+ Performs related duties as required.

Salary:

Actual salary commensurate with experience.
