Position Summary:

Under general direction of the Margin Manager, the qualified candidate will act as a facilitator in support of growing our Independent Foodservice Sales business and reviewing all functions that can affect that growth. Ensure the accuracy of pricing and/or contract data to customers and Area Managers within the Independent Foodservice segment. Communicates and interacts with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally ensuring questions are answered accurately and timely. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company.

Job Responsibilities

+ Assist in monitoring cost and pricing of products by category to ensure profit expectations while growing sales. Monitor pricing and margin standards on new and existing items.

+ Enter and monitor street deviations for Area Managers in support of sales growth and profitability expectations.

+ Creates and processes weekly customer pricing for products.

+ Set up and maintenance of Street Sales Rebates.

+ Set up and maintain Independent Street Sales Bids and Contracts.

+ Assist in performing ad hoc financial analysis.

+ Backup other Finance or Sales Support staff as needed.

+ Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

Required Education: High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience

2 - 4 Years experience in Finance, accounting or related area in Food Sales, Procurement and/or Contracts; Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel including VLookup, Pivot Tables and other formulas as needed
