Opportunities to Contribute
+ Program Planning, Implementation, Evaluation: Assists in establishing short- and long-term goals, strategic planning, and objectives, policies, and procedures. Collaborates with others to create, plan, implement, and evaluate new and expanded programs. Identifies new funding sources and partners. Evaluates general clinic workflow for efficiency gains.
+ Fiscal Management/Budget Oversight: Oversees daily fiscal and purchasing activities. Assists in the preparation and monitoring of budgets for programs and events. Helps the Patient Services Manager categorize expenses into the correct program (Brazos Valley Mobile Clinic versus East Texas Mobile Clinic).
+ Staff Supervision/Training: May supervise program staff. Develops, updates, and delivers training materials. Coordinates daily, weekly, and monthly reporting and chart audits for the team. Provides direction on non-standard cases and identifies new training opportunities for Rural Health Center designated clinics. Ensures grant reporting metrics are coded into patient charts during clinic visits.
+ Stakeholder Relationship Management: Develops and maintains relationships with stakeholders.
+ Travels to communities to market and discuss the capabilities of the Texas A&M Health Mobile Clinics. Represents Texas A&M Health Mobile Clinics at community events.
+ Reporting/Documentation: Prepares reports on program activities. Responsible for daily, weekly, and monthly reporting from Electronic Health Records to ensure accurate coding of patient demographics and insurance billing records.
Minimum Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
+ Four years of related experience in program coordination, administration, or other related areas to include experience with Electronic Health Records (eCW or Epic preferred) and experience with the insurance billing and revenue cycle
A well-qualified candidate will also possess
+ Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others
+ Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications
+ Verbal and written communication skills
What You Need to Know
Salary: Compensation will be commensurate based on the selected hire’s education and experience.
Schedule: This position may require work beyond normal office hours and/or work on weekends and holidays.
Other: Depending upon the nature of your position, you may be required to receive immunizations (excluding COVID and Flu).
