Responsibilities

Ascension St. Vincent Hospital is seeking a BC/BE kidney transplant surgeon to join our team where there is plenty of opportunity to grow and expand in our well-established, kidney transplant program located at a Level 1 Trauma Center in Indianapolis.

Our entire multidisciplinary team is housed under one roof for seamless,

collaborative care. We achieved our highest kidney transplant and

living donor volumes last year and currently all kidney transplants

are performed robotically using the DaVinci platform. This is an

exceptional opportunity to be part of an innovative, high-volume with deeply experienced and supportive team.

Specialty services include: Transplant trained nursing staff, post-transplant monitoring and outpatient clinic, living donor transplant team, transplant outreach coordinator, interdisciplinary team of dietitians, financial counselors, referral coordinators, social workers, and physicians work together to develop a customized patient care plan.

Responsibilities:

+ Evaluates and treats patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills. Coordinates discharge planning with case management.

Requirements

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

+ Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

+ Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred.

Education:

+ Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
