All Things Metal, a seven-time Best Places to Work award winner, is growing—and we’re hiring a skilled Staff Accountant with construction accounting experience using Sage or Vista Viewpoint software. We’re a structural and miscellaneous steel fabricator and erector in Phoenix, AZ, and we’re building more than steel—we’re building a high-performing, supportive team.

As a Staff Accountant, you’ll support the Finance department with general ledger accounting, journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting. You’ll work closely with project and leadership teams to ensure financial accuracy and integrity across the company.

**Please note, this position will be moving to 19500 W Jomax Road in Wittmann, AZ within the next couple years. If you aren't willing to make that commute, no need to apply.

What You'll Do:

+ Perform journal entries, general ledger, and accrual adjustments

+ Manage L&O postings and reconciliations in Sage or Vista

+ Support month-end close and year-end financial preparation

+ Assist with TPT reporting, sales tax, and audits

+ Help maintain fixed asset and amortization schedules

+ Assist with accounts payable/receivable when needed

+ Work with other finance staff on cross-trained tasks

+ Assist with state and local tax reporting

+ Support fixed asset and amortization schedules

+ Help prepare documentation for audits and insurance renewals

+ Provide support for year-end close and ad hoc finance projects

+ Cross train in AP/AR for coverage, support or backup.

What You'll Need:

+ 2+ years of accounting experience

+ Sage or Vista Viewpoint software experience is required

+ Strong Excel and financial reporting skills

+ Knowledge of construction job costing is a plus

+ High attention to detail and strong time management

+ Ability to learn, adapt, and collaborate across departments

Schedule:

+ Monday – Thursday: 7:00AM–5:00PM (1 hour lunch)

+ Friday: 7:00AM–11:00AM
