Job Summary and Qualifications

The **Hematology Lead’s** primary responsibility is the accurate and timely performance of laboratory tests in their assigned area. They are also responsible for the overall operations of the laboratory. This includes providing and supervising high quality lab tests, quality control, preventive maintenance of equipment, computer activities, and collection of specimens.

What Qualifications you will need:

+ Two years of Medical Technologist experience in the Microbiology setting

+ Certified from a nationally recognized clinical laboratory regulatory agency (ASCP, AMT, or NCA) or prove eligibility to sit for an MT/CLS certification exam. General requirements are at least a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Medical Laboratory Science and passing a certification exam.
