Job Summary and Qualifications

Manager – Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) Engineering will lead the design, implementation, and protection of SaaS Identity Governance systems, with a strong emphasis on cloud infrastructure and data platforms. This role is ideal for a leader with experience in building and managing GCP databases utilizing PostgreSQL, supporting cloud-native infrastructure, and integrating across multi-cloud environments. The manager will guide a team of highly-skilled technical professionals and collaborate with various IAM, software development, security, and business stakeholders to ensure secure, scalable, and compliant identity governance solutions.

Major Responsibilities

+ **Pilot and deploy a comprehensive strategy and roadmap for application onboarding into the IGA system, synchronizing with organizational goals and compliance requirements.**

+ **Design and implement onboarding workflows that support cloud-native services, including GCP database creation and management combing various sources of truth into the IGA platform.**

+ **Ensure seamless integration of cloud infrastructure components—such as GCP databases, virtual machines, and networking services—with the IGA framework.**

+ **Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of applications with the IGA framework, addressing any technical challenges or issues.**

+ **Remain vigilant with trends in cloud identity governance, infrastructure as code (IaC), and cloud-native security practices.**

+ **Promote a culture of cloud security awareness and continuous improvement across engineering and operations teams.**

+ **Communicate progress, risks, and achievements related to application onboarding to senior management and other stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.**

+ **Cultivate a culture of security awareness and continuous improvement, championing IGA best practices and knowledge sharing within the organization.**

+ **Conduct code reviews and mentor engineers, with a focus on cloud automation, database provisioning, and secure infrastructure design.**

Other Qualifications

+ **Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.**

+ **Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders**

+ **Microsoft (C#, ASP.net, MS-SQL, Active Directory, Azure, Entra ID) GCP Data technologies (Cloud SQL, Teraform, BigQuery, PostgreSQL)**

+ **Excellent knowledge in Database design, Data Warehousing, Database performance tuning**

+ **Strong Knowledge in HTML, CSS, Javascript, URL coding, JSON, XML, SOAP, and Rest API**

+ **Familiarity with IGA tools and IAM technologies, such as Saviynt EIC.**

+ **Strong understanding of network and system security principles and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and encryption.**

+ **Proven ability to manage projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.**

+ **Professional certifications in Cloud technologies (e.g., Google Professional Cloud Database Engineer, Google Professional Cloud Architect, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are highly desirable.**

+ One or more year(s) of experience in Identity & Access or Information Technology job role

+ Creating and managing GCP databases (e.g., Cloud SQL, BigQuery, PostgreSQL)

+ Supporting and automating cloud infrastructure (GCP, Azure, AWS)
