+ Assisting classroom teachers in the care, health, welfare and safety of children 12 weeks - 5 years of age in a group setting.

+ Working with a team of teachers, to provide a caring environment where children are safe and secure.

+ Cleaning/disinfecting toys per DEEC regulations.

+ Setting up afternoon activities/learning centers and engage in play.

+ Preparing/serving snack.

+ Restocking classroom areas as requested.

+ Participating in group/story/circle time.

+ Assisting classroom teacher with closing of the classroom each day.

To qualify, you must have:

+ At least 18 years of age.

+ The ability to exchange information on factual matters, greet visitors, explain hospital policies, and/or relay messages to appropriate personnel.

+ Courtesy and tact when dealing with patients, visitors and/or hospital employees. More sensitive situations may be referred to others as appropriate.

Shift/Hours:

+ Part time -15/hours per week.

+ Shift/hours: 2:30pm - 6:00pm.

Brookline Location

This position is eligible for an Employee Referral Bonus.
