Nightwing is seeking an experience and cleared Facility and Logistics Manager to oversee the management of our facilities and logistics operations in the Springfield, VA area. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our facilities, including maintenance, repairs, and logistics, with excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Key responsibilities:

+ Oversee the maintenance, repairs, and renovations of facilities

+ Ensure compliance with safety regulations

+ Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution or logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management

+ Develop and implement logistics strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction

+ Ensure the day-to-day operations of facilities and logistics are running smoothly and efficiently

+ Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives

+ Provide detailed monthly status reports. Reports shall include, but limited to (status of project/requirements, procurement ledger, and maintenance ledger)

+ Manage relationships with vendors, including janitorial, security, and maintenance services

+ Ensure vendors are meeting contractual obligations and providing quality services

Requirements:

+ Minimum 5 years of experience in facility management and logistics

+ Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team

+ Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications

+ Ability to travel to various locations, including warehouses and other facilities

+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities

+ Eligible and willing to obtain Forklift and Manlift certifications

Lifting Requirements:

The Facility Logistics Manager role requires occasional lifting, bending, and standing. The following lifting requirements are associated with this position:

+ Occasional Lifting: Up to 50 pounds (23 kg) occasionally (less than 1/3 of the workday)

+ Frequent Lifting: Up to 25 pounds (11 kg) frequently (1/3 to 2/3 of the workday)

+ Constant lifting: Not required

The lifting requirements may vary depending on the specific tasks and activities performed by the Facility and Logistics Manager. The employee may be required to lift, push, or pull objects, including but not limited to:

+ Boxes and crates

+ Equipment and machinery

+ Furniture and fixtures

+ Supplies and materials

Required Clearance:

_Must have TS/SCI security clearance with Poly on day one and be eligible for crossover._
