    About The Role

     

    WEG Electric Corp ,a global electric equipment company isseeking a motivated engineering intern who is eager to learn and contribute to our application engineering team. This role offers experience with low voltage electric motors and real-world applications, providing a strong foundation in both technical and customer-focused aspects of engineering. The intern will work alongside experienced engineers, contributing to projects while developing skills.

    Primary Responsibilities

    + Create technical documentation (datasheets, drawings) with the available engineering software

    + Assist LV Motors team members

    + Support the application engineering team for quotation process

    + Support to do virtual benchmarking

    Knowledge / Training

    + Willingness to learn and take initiative

    + Familiarity with Microsoft Office Applications (Mainly Excel and Power Point)

    + Introductory knowledge of product development

    + Familiarity with fundamental electrical and mechanical concepts and terminology.

    + Willing to learn about low voltage electric motors

    Education

    + High School/GED - Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Majors
