    GE Vernova is looking for a skilled Machine Operator to join our team responsible for operating winding machines to produce internal components for instrument transformers. The ideal candidate will have experience in machine operation, particularly with winding machines, and be proficient in using basic electrical testing tools such as multimeters to verify product quality.

    Job Description

    •Set up, operate, and monitor winding machines to produce coils and windings for internal components of instrument transformers.

    •Adjust machine settings to ensure proper winding speed, tension, and alignment of materials.

    •Monitor production processes to maintain product quality and consistency.

    •Perform basic electrical tests using multimeters to verify specifications and ensure components meet quality standards.

    •Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and perform minor repairs as needed.

    •Maintain accurate production records and documentation of machine settings and adjustments.

    •Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

    •Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve production goals and resolve operational issues.

    QAULIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Experience specifically in operating winding machines for electrical components or instrument transformers.

    • Knowledge of quality control processes and procedures.

    • Ability to troubleshoot machine issues and optimize production processes

    EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

    •High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in machine operation is preferred.

    •Proven experience as a machine operator, particularly with winding machines or similar equipment.

    •Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions.

    •Familiarity with basic electrical testing tools such as multimeters.

    •Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in production tasks.

    •Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform minor repairs and adjustments.

    •Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

    •Basic computer skills for data entry and production monitoring
