We ve got the position for you! We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager to grow our team at Buckeye Ranch RV Resort & Storage. The property will feature more than 400 RV sites, 300+ luxury covered RV storage facility, swimming pool, pickleball courts, and a dog park! Projected to open Early Summer 2025. Property conveniently located just outside of Phoenix, close to the Estrella Mountains, golfing, and much more! Position Summary : The Maintenance Manager performs maintenance duties requiring technical labor skills, including plumbing, light carpentry and construction, HVAC repairs and adjustments, and appliance repair. Oversee team to ensure maintenance standards are upheld. Schedule and oversee capital projects, PM projects, and general repairs. Complete weekly schedule. Ensure expenses are in line with budget by working with the GM on ordering and inventory. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned. Conducts safety meetings, training and maintains MSDS binders. Inspects and approves team s work performance. Reviews grounds, facilities, pools, rental units, infrastructure, and river frontage. Ensure common area lawns are maintained to present an impeccable "guest ready" appearance. This includes a rigorous regimen of treating weeds, employing specialized chemicals to eradicate unwanted growth. The grounds crew diligently pulls weeds, rakes leaves, plants flowers and shrubs, and spreads layers of mulch, woodchips, or stones. Additionally, they remove dead or broken trees and shrubs that have been damaged by adverse weather or winds. Performs other lawn care services as necessary. Installs, maintains, performs preventative maintenance on, and recommends replacement of tools, appliances, and equipment. Executes various preventative maintenance functions and records findings in a maintenance log, either through delegation or by directly handling required tasks. Ensures proper maintenance, repairs, logs and inventory for resort buildings, rental units, vehicles, and equipment. Guarantees that the maintenance team performs according to company standards and that service requests are handled in a prompt, courteous and efficient manner. Monitors the maintenance and upkeep of all community mechanical equipment, including water heater and HVAC units in common buildings, lawn mowers, weed eaters, etc. Manages and operates propane fill station and propane tanks for resort s rental units. Develops weekly staff work schedules within budgeted labor guidelines to ensure maximum productivity and revenue while maintaining service standards and quality. Performs duties as assigned. Works a variable schedule including weekends and Holidays.
