    Description

    Position Summary:

    We are looking for a compassionate and organized Dispatching Customer Service Representative to support our nonprofit programs. This individual will play a key role in coordinating services, assisting clients, and dispatching field personnel or volunteers to ensure prompt and reliable support to those in need. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a heart for service, and the ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.

     

    THIS ROLE TURNS HYBRID AFTER 6 MONTHS - if preforming up to company standards!!

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Serve as the first point of contact for individuals seeking assistance or information

    + Respond to phone calls, emails, and messages with empathy, professionalism, and accuracy

    + Schedule and dispatch staff or volunteers to service requests, appointments, or community events

    + Track and monitor dispatched services to ensure timely and accurate delivery of support

    + Maintain detailed records of client interactions, dispatch logs, and outcomes using internal systems

    + Communicate effectively with internal teams and partner organizations to coordinate resources

    + Follow up with clients to confirm services were received and gather feedback

    + Support daily administrative operations as needed

    Requirements

    Qualifications:

    + High school diploma or GED required; additional education or nonprofit experience is a plus

    + Prior experience in customer service, dispatching, or administrative roles (nonprofit or social services preferred)

    + Strong interpersonal and listening skills; ability to work with diverse populations

    + Familiarity with dispatch software, scheduling tools, or case management systems is helpful

    + Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with technology

    + Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented

    + Bilingual skills a plus
