    Description

    Are you an experienced accounting professional seeking an opportunity to take full ownership of bookkeeping and financial operations in a growing organization? Our client is looking for a Full-Charge Bookkeeper to join their team. This critical role will provide detailed financial oversight, ensuring compliance and supporting the organization’s financial health.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Handle all aspects of accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.

    + Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and consistency in financial records.

    + Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for management, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.

    + Conduct bank and credit card reconciliations regularly to ensure accurate financial data.

    + Collaborate with external accountants during tax preparation and audits, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.

    + Support cash flow forecasting, expense tracking, and adherence to budgets.

    + Implement and enforce financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to mitigate risks.

    Requirements

    + Associate or bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered.

    + 5+ years of bookkeeping experience, with at least 2 years as a full-charge or senior bookkeeper.

    + Proficiency in accounting software, such as QuickBooks (Desktop and Online), Sage, or Xero. Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge is required.

    + Solid understanding of GAAP principles and full-charge bookkeeping practices, including payroll and tax regulations.

    + Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple deadlines.

    + Strong interpersonal skills to work with management, vendors, external accountants, and other stakeholders.
