Description We are looking for a skilled Payroll Supervisor to lead and manage payroll operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. In this role, you will work closely with HR and Finance teams to oversee payroll processes, maintain data integrity, and generate essential reports. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in payroll systems and regulatory compliance, driving excellence across all payroll functions.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee bi-weekly payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant policies and regulations.
• Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to prepare payroll-related reports and monthly journal entries.
• Maintain the integrity of payroll data, resolving discrepancies and ensuring proper recordkeeping.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.
• Manage and administer employee benefits, including 401(k) and retirement plans.
• Utilize payroll systems such as ADP Workforce Now and Ceridian to streamline operations.
• Conduct audits of payroll processes to identify areas for improvement and ensure accuracy.
• Provide guidance and support to the payroll team, fostering growth and development.
• Develop and implement payroll policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and compliance.
• Act as a primary point of contact for payroll-related inquiries from employees and management. Requirements • Proven experience in payroll management, with a strong understanding of payroll systems like ADP Workforce Now and Ceridian.
• Expertise in federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in generating and interpreting payroll reports.
• Proficiency in using tools such as Crystal Reports and other reporting software.
• Familiarity with benefit administration, including 401(k) plans.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team effectively.
• Experience with accounting and auditing functions related to payroll.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
