Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our team in Tampa, Florida. This is a Contract-to-permanent opportunity where you will play a key role in budgeting, financial analysis, and reporting. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in Excel and thrives in a fast-paced, self-directed environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage annual budgets, ensuring accuracy and alignment with organizational goals.

• Perform monthly analyses of budget figures, identifying trends and variances.

• Support the month-end close process by preparing accurate financial data and ensuring compliance with deadlines.

• Analyze and process data related to special assessment fees for tax bills.

• Create and deliver ad hoc financial reports to support decision-making and strategic planning.

• Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring they reflect the company’s financial position.

• Leverage advanced data mining techniques to extract meaningful insights from financial data.

• Contribute to capital management efforts through effective budgeting and forecasting.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting processes and improve reporting accuracy. Requirements • Proven experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas and data analysis.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and functions.

• Experience in preparing and analyzing financial statements.

• Ability to create and interpret ad hoc financial reports.

• Knowledge of data mining techniques to uncover actionable insights.

• Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
